GirlsDoPorn Owner Michael Pratt Sentenced to 27 Years

SAN DIEGO — Michael Pratt, former owner of the website GirlsDoPorn, has been sentenced to 27 years in federal prison.

As XBIZ reported in June, Pratt pleaded guilty to sex trafficking and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking charges in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. On Monday, federal Judge Janis Sammartino handed down the 27-year sentence, along with an additional 10 years of supervised probation when Pratt is released.

The six-hour sentencing hearing included testimony from nearly 40 victims of the GirlsDoPorn scheme.

Prosecutors, who described Pratt as "the ringleader in a wide-ranging sex-trafficking conspiracy," were initially seeking just under 22 years following Pratt's plea.

However, upon hearing from victims, Sammartino decided to add the additional years based on what she called "the sheer scope and magnitude of this offense."

XBIZ covered the GirlsDoPorn case extensively, as well as the trials and sentencing of Pratt’s associates, including producer and performer Doug Wiederhold, cameraman Alexander Brian Foster, GDP second-in-command Matthew Wolfe, videographer Theodore Gyi, recruiter and performer Ruben Andre “Dre” Garcia and bookkeeper Valorie Moser.
